TRIP OVERVIEW
Shandur Pass hosts the most famous sporting event in the mountains: free-style polo between the teams of Chitral and Gilgit, played on a grass ground at around 3,700 m.
The tour combines the festival with the drive to reach it — some of the finest scenery and culture in northern Pakistan.
Festival dates shift each year, so departures are confirmed once the schedule is announced.
