NANGA PARBAT EXPEDITION

TRIP OVERVIEW

Nanga Parbat stands alone at the western end of the Himalaya, an immense isolated massif with a formidable reputation.

The standard line is the Kinshofer route on the Diamir Face, with a steep rock and ice band above Camp 1 that defines the climb.

Base camp is reached by jeep and a short trek from Bunar, making logistics simpler than on the Baltoro peaks.
