TRIP OVERVIEW
This is a serious, committing traverse: up the Biafo Glacier from Askole, across the vast basin of Snow Lake, over the Hispar La at 5,151 m, and down the Hispar Glacier to Nagar.
Rope work, crevasse awareness and full glacier camping are part of every day. Previous trekking experience at altitude is required.
For those ready for it, it is arguably the most spectacular glacier journey on earth.
