BALTORO KANGRI EXPEDITION

Extreme
37 days
7,312 m

TRIP OVERVIEW

Baltoro Kangri — the Golden Throne — sits at the very head of the Baltoro Glacier, a broad snow massif with several summits.

The climb combines a full Baltoro approach trek with glacier and snow-ridge climbing, and is a fine objective for teams stepping up from 6,000 m peaks.

Concordia is used as the staging point, so the trip doubles as a K2 Base Camp trek.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Golden Throne massif at the head of the Baltoro
  • Includes the full Concordia approach
  • Good step-up objective before an 8,000er
  • Full glacier camp support
