TRIP OVERVIEW
The K2 Base Camp trek is the single most iconic walk in Pakistan. From the roadhead at Askole you follow the Braldu river into the heart of the Karakoram, then step onto the Baltoro Glacier for days of moraine, ice and granite.
At Concordia — the confluence of the Baltoro and Godwin-Austen glaciers — four of the world's fourteen 8,000 metre peaks stand around you. From there it is a final push along the Godwin-Austen to K2 Base Camp and the Gilkey Memorial.
We run this trek with a full local crew: mountain guide, cook, and porters from the Shigar and Braldu valleys, with dedicated dining and toilet tents at every camp.
